Freddie Gibbs Being Held In Austrian Prison, Facing Rape Allegations Following Extradition From France (Video)

 

 

Freddie Gibbs has been extradited from France to Austria to face allegations that he drugged two women and raped one of them in July 2015.

Otf.at reports that the 34-year old Indiana native, born Fredrick Tipton, is being held atJosefstadt prison in Vienna. He’s been there since Sunday, July 31, following a denial of his extradition appeal by French authorities.

As we previously reported, Gibbs was in France for a concert at.the Rex in Toulouse, when he was arrested on a European warrant issued by Austria, on June 2.

He was allowed to post $56,000 bail, but had to surrender his passport and check in with authorities three times a week.

A French court ruled in favor of extraditing the rapper on June 23.
