Looks like the apple didn’t fall far from the tree.
Dennis Graham, the father of multi-platinum selling rapper Drake, is preparing to release his debut R&B album.
“Kinda Crazy” is the lead single and TMZ managed to get a snippet of the music video.
Dennis is working with producer Jamie Iovine on the project.
Jamie is the CRO of Meltdown Comics and son of music executive, Jimmy Iovine.
The single will be released later this month while Dennis puts the finishing touches on the album.
Dennis is not a stranger to the music business. The 60+ year old singer worked as a drummer for Jerry Lee Lewis in his younger years.
Like son, like father? After recently being featured in Canadian band Arkells’ video for their new song “Drake’s Dad,” it is being reported by TMZ that Dennis Graham is looking to launch/relaunch his own music career. Word is that Papa Graham and Jimmy Iovine’s son Jamie Iovine are in turn releasing an R&B album.
TMZ got their hands on Dennis’ debut track, “Kinda Crazy,” as well as a video clip that highlights the elder Graham sporting a clean white suit and an OVO owl chain.
Now the only question is — when can we expect that Drake x Dennis Graham collaboration?
